Sophie Ryder continues to explore familiar themes of the hybrid Lady Hare and Dog-Man. Her recent work has a new found energy and vitality and the response of collectors has been very encouraging, notably when we showed her at the art fair in Miami for the first time for a number of years. It is more than 20 years since we first showed her at the gallery and the new work, in particular the outstanding two and three dimensional wire sculptures, can be considered amongst her best.
