A life-sized cement head-cast of Henry Moore’s baby nephew Peter will be among rare early works by the artist in an exhibition opening in May.
The show, at London art dealer Osborne Samuel, will be unusually personal, with many early pieces never previously exhibited, including his sister Betty’s personal collection of sculpture and drawings that Moore gave her in the 1920s and 30s – including the cement head-cast of her infant son. […]

The Photographers 2014

Many of you will know that we have a new interest in photography. In part this reflects a logical evolution of the art market. Photography is simply another medium for great art, to add to painting, prints and sculpture for which we are well known. However we break new ground with the current exhibition, which includes rare iconic images by some of the best known photographers of all time, from the dawn of photography to the present day. […]

October 2014 Newsletter

Our annual Modern British catalogues have traditionally showcased our new acquisitions during the year. In addition this year we have been fortunate to secure a number of important collections so the emphasis is very much on these works, all new to the market, including some very fine paintings and sculptures that have come to us from collectors in the UK, as well as France, Malaysia, Canada and elsewhere. […]

They have always commanded attention, stamping the ragged daily patterns of a terrible conflict onto paper, and subsequently into people's minds. […]
