Ana Maria Pacheco (sculptor, painter and printmaker) was born in Brazil in 1943. Following two significant group exhibitions - the ICA in 1980 (Women's Images of Men) and the Hayward Annual Drawing Show in 1982 - her first important one person show took place at the Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, in 1983. Since 1983 she has exhibited widely, two UK tours taking her work to a number of venues including the Camden Arts Centre, London and the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford. In 1996 Ana Maria Pacheco was invited to become the fourth Associate Artist at the National Gallery, London. She was both the first non-European and the first sculptor to take up this appointment (1997-2000).

The 20/21 BRITISH ART FAIR is the only fair specialising exclusively in modern and contemporary art. It takes place in September at the Royal College of Art, Kensington Gore, London SW7. Osborne Samuel annually attend the fair. We display sculpture and painting from our modern and contemporary art collection including works by the artists Henry Moore, Lunn Chadwick, Sophie Ryder, Edward Wadsworth, Peter Kinley and Keith Vaughan.
