Brendan Stuart Burns currently lives and works in Cardiff. The Pembrokeshire coast has been his central inspiration and influence for the past fifteen years, where light, reflection, refraction, colour, journey, surface texture and the ambiguity of space have created a distinctive visual language. The results are outstanding painterly works with heavily applied impasto on natural linen with an ethereal quality that resonates. This will be Burns second solo show with the gallery.
