This week Amy Tibble has chosen Brassai’s Fille de Joie, Quartier d’Italie, 1932. Given the name, ‘The Eye of Paris’, by Picasso and writer, Henry Miller, Brassai was fascinated with capturing the gritty underbelly of Paris.
